Pixie and I would like to thank all of the children of Beech class and their parents for another fantastic year. You have been such a kind, enthusiastic and hard working class and I have loved teaching you all.
Thank you so much for our beautiful presents, they are all so sweet and thoughtful! We will miss you all terribly but promise to stay in touch.

Beech Class Summer Term Information
Welcome back! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Easter holidays.
Swimming: The class will be going swimming on Wednesday afternoons, please make sure your child has their swimming kit and a towel with them on this day.
P.E.: will be on Thursday afternoons. Please make sure children have their kit with them. P.E. kits can be left in school. Please also ensure that your child has suitable running shoes in school everyday as we will all be taking part in the ‘Daily Mile’ at break times!
Homework/ Spellings: Homework books will be given out on Fridays and need to be back in for Wednesday. Homework will include a set of spellings for your child to learn along with one piece of maths work. We will also have a topic homework grid with 9 tasks for this term. These are optional and there is no fixed deadline for these tasks. We have our spellings test on Friday afternoons, the scores can be found in your child’s spelling book which goes home in their book bag.
Topic: Our topic for this term will be Pirates, if you have any photos or objects relating to the topic that you are happy to share with the class we would love to see them!

P.E.: will be on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Please make you have your P.E. kit with you on these days. P.E. kits can be left in school.
Forest School: will be on Wednesday afternoons. Please make sure you bring in your wellies in plastic bags, weather appropriate outside clothes, waterproof trousers and coats. Forest school clothes and wellies can be left in school.
Homework/ Spellings: Homework books will be given out on Fridays and need to be back in for Wednesday. Please try to read 3 times a week.
Topic: Our topic for this term will be Florence Nightingale, if you have any objects relating to the topic that you are happy to share with the class we would love to see them!
